Our PTO

Abby Kupp - My husband, Tim, and I have two boys, Grayson (3rd) and Harrison (1st) and a daughter, Harper (3.5 years). This is our 4th year as a Ferson family but my 2nd year on the PTO Board. I served as a room parent for 3 years and I’m excited to be involved again, to meet new families, and continue to create a sense of community. I’m looking forward to all the events we have planned this year & making memories throughout the new school year! Outside of school life, I’m a stay-at-home mom. I love to read, organize/decorate and I spend most of my evenings/weekends at sporting events for my boys!

Jennifer Lucas - My husband, Willie, and I have two children: our son Callen (5th) & our daughter Harlynn (2nd). This is our 4th year as a Ferson family and my 2nd year on the PTO after a short break. I’ve served as a room parent, helped with staff appreciation week, AVIC and other school events. I am looking forward to a great year full of fun activities! As a former public school educator, I continue to tutor and teach from home online. I am very fortunate to be part of this community and I’m excited for a the year ahead!

Elizabeth Pendexter - My husband Jon and I have three boys: Grayson (6th), Knox (3rd) and Brigham (preschool). This is our seventh year at Ferson Creek and my second year serving on the PTO Board. In my pre-children life, I worked in non-profit administration and fundraising; so building and giving back to the community is my passion. When not rooting on my boys during some sporting event, I enjoy playing paddle tennis and reading. I’ve loved serving as room parent, helping with AVIC and other special events at Ferson and I’m really looking forward to getting to know more families this year! With the energy and support of the Ferson families, staff and community we can give our children the best elementary school experience!!!!

Shannon Puri - This is my 10th year at Ferson Creek. My husband, Raj, and I have two children: Lilly (5MF) and Shawn (Freshman at St. Charles North High School).  I’ve volunteered for a variety of committees as well as sat on the Board as the Secretary, the President, and a Board Officer. I’m a former middle school Special Education teacher and Reading Specialist. I’m also a harpist, pilot, and a student in karate, kick boxing, tap dancing, and yoga. I love learning new things. Mainly, I want to give back to a community that has so much to offer to us!

Mindy Stricker - This is my fourth year at Ferson Creek and my second year as a PTO Board member. My husband, Doug, and I are originally from Ohio and fell in love with the area and all of the amazing people we continue to get to know. We have established roots here after seven years of living in St. Charles and have three children: Claudia (4th grade), Will (2nd grade), and CeCe (Kindergarten). First year with all the kiddos being Ferson Foxes! I'm very fortunate to have been helped by so many in our area and look forward to the opportunity to give back to others. In addition, getting to know our community and staff better is a real bonus!
